Pre-parade Day two –> Airforce.com

The Airforce had a display at the Rose Pre-parade area. One of the things that they offered was the opportunity to ride in the small airplanes (on wheels). The ride was free and the child could go as many times as they felt like waiting in line. Nadine rode four times. (Baby Paisley also rode the plane with Nadine.)

Samson was quite interested, so I gave him a ride, but he was no longer interested once he was not allowed to stand in the airplane. After the first lap the driver brought him back to me and Samson held on tight. Poor little guy!

Nadine and I talked about how much Jacob Netti would love to be riding in these airplanes. We miss you Jake!!!

Although his eyes may look blue in this photo, they are actually quite brown. (That is my extremely old looking hand.)

The Mitchell’s of London, OH

We arrived in London, OH from Cincinnati around 6:00pm and stopped at the downtown park and Nadine played, JR and Samson watched the cheerleading practice and I cooked dinner. We ate dinner in the park (Tinkanyada spaghetti noodles + Meir Glen Tomatoes + organic beef + onions + garlic = spaghetti and salad) and then drove another five minutes and spent the night at Tom and Tammy’s new place.

In the morning the girls, Darcy (pink), Autumn and Raeanna (back of head) came to check out our RV. They are all up in the bed where Nadine sleeps. There’s Nadine in the second photo. Nadine is six months younger than Raeanna.

The girls had fun playing with each other in the mud, on the swing, in the mud, in the water, in the mud and on the trampoline throughout the day. (I think Nadine went through four outfits today.)

Tom’s dad (JR’s godfather) came to help with siding on the house and stepped inside to check out the rig and to hold Samson for a minute.

We all ate breakfast together. Tammy made french toast with a wonderful loaf of day old bread from Panera that we were given at the convent in Cincinnati. For lunch we did our own thing due to poor communication, but then for dinner we had homemade pizza (minus the crust) that we cooked in the oven in their new house.

Nadine - Flower Essence Healing & Heavy Metal Removal

Yesterday we had an episode where Nadine was hitting her friend Nikki over the head with a toy sword, pulling his older sisters hair and she refused to come back home. have been assured that this is not typical three year old behavior. (Note: we were not with her at this time, but another mom from the community brought her home in the garden cart-she was over due for a nap, but I decided to let her continue playing because they were having a lot of fun.) The mom, Zita, who brought Nadine back home mentioned to Jonatnan that she wanted to offer Nadne some flower remedies, but Jonathan didn’t get to hear her out because I called him upstairs to take Samson (as I had just begin to suffer from the effects of food poisoning-due to suspect under cooked egg I ate for breakfast). I called Zita later last night when I was feeling better, but was only able to leave a message.

I phoned her again this morning and she invited me down after her 9:00 appointment. She told me about Hanna Kroeger and how she studied under her for four years and then continued to study it and now ten years later continues to practice the methods. She has quite a pharmacy set up in the treatment room in her home in Heartwood of flowers and herbs. She also does a bit with vibropathic remedies (similar to homeopathic), which I will be ordering on Monday for Nadine (to rid her body of the metals - graphites, lead and also sulfur is causing her issues as well as she needs more calcium. The lead can be preventing the proper absorption of the calcium). These remedies are fairly cheap and Natural, unlike the topical DMSA we were previously using to chelate the metals. I am also going to get a flower essence reading for Nadine on Tuesday. The combination of these elements should get us on the right track with Nadine and her health and her behavior.

I will blog more about this as I learn more…

I think it is along the lines of this: http://www.bachremedies.co.uk/?lang=us

Look What I Found - Yard Sale

After the chiropractic appointment (I am going three times per week to alleviate lower back pain), I stopped at a yard sale. I scored a shirt, a pair of shorts and a Marmot fleece vest all for only $1! (I have wanted a vest for a long time.) There were quite a few baby items there so I asked f they had a jumpy-jump because Samson loves to jump and ours did not fit into our luggage… And a young girl there, mother to Lane (6 mos), hopped into her Rig (AKA truck) and drove up the lane and came back with an original Johnny Jump-Up! I offered her $5 (Jonathan asked why I didn’t offer her only $1) and it was ours! In this wonderful home that we are staying they had additional wood already screwed nto the beam to hold one so we put it up there and away went Samson! (I must say the one we have at hoe has a nicer spring, but he doesn’t mnd.)

Elimination Control - Success

Warning: Ths entry contains a photo of poop!

We have been having excellent success wth EC’ing! Out the last load of diapers - only had four diapers that had #2 on them! Jonathan is also gettng into helping him use the toilet. Of course Nadine loves to help him but she is often more of a distraction than a help because Samson loves to look and smile at his BiG sister!
