Day 2
After coming from our grocery shopping excursion (Trader Joes and Costco) both children fell asleep and we had a $20 voucher for slots at the Casino associated with the Loews Resort. I wanted to go in and play, but once inside I didn’t have my ID so I was not able to play and I returned outside to let JR have a try (how convenient that he didn’t return my ID to my wallet after flying the previous day and as a result he got to go and gamble). While he was in there I baked us an Organic Cheese pizza from TJ’s to have for dinner. This was pretty funny to be doing in the parking lot at the casino especially because we were literally parked right in front of the casino just to the left of where the people go to get valet.
Jonathan came back out after a while. He opened the door to get into drive and saw that I was sitting outside on the curb nursing Samson so he shut the door and walked around to where we were sitting. As I was watching him walk I noticed that he was doing something with the “stuff” in his hands, which turned out to be his winnings! He won $225 from playing slots and then blackjack! He only put $5 of our money into it.
