Day 3
After our second night at the resort, I was making eggs in the morning and the generator on the RV went off (later I learned that I didn’t even need the generator on to use the gas stove-of course) and we had to take it in to find out why it wouldn’t turn back on. (we only had one plate that’s why there are so many eggs on Nadine’s plate)

Of course, the response was that never in the five years that this repairperson has worked on RV’s NEVER has this piece gone bad. It was a bit frustrating, but it did get us another night at the Loews, so not all bad.
We met a really nice family currently from Phoenix (originally from Canada, and all of their children were born in the Cayman Islands) with three children; David, Tina and Alex. The mom’s name was Filomena. They were there for the husbands work. We spent the morning hours with them in the pool and playing in the sand while JR took the RV in to be assessed.
The hotel staff was great! Very eager to please. They brought us sand toys upon request and even moved and open the sun umbrellas to make more shade for the children to play under. They also had life jackets, sand toys, a putting green bicycles, and a desert tortoise named Speedy that we saw around noontime. I also discovered there were free apples available at the front desk and in the gym. Nadine loved to get these apples every time we went past the front desk she would ask for an apple. They also had a wonderful drink called a Desert Elixir, which was composed of ginger ale, pomegranate juice, fresh mint and another herb that I can’t remember. This was in a container with a lot of ice and they had it out free after 3:00 each day. It was very good.
