Photos at the Four Corners-extension of day 8

Jonathan always remembered his family trip out west when he was a child and one of the places they stopped was at the Four Corners. Conveniently it was directly on our way to Heartwood from Flagstaff, AZ, so we were able to stop.

Here’s Nadine wearing her wonderful birthday gift from the Norris family!

It was quite windy there. Other than the placard under Nadine’s feet there were stand surrounding the location that were selling touristy stuff – like T-shirts, Native Wear and jewelry, food, etc. Jonathan and Nadine took a trip around the stands and Nadine got a turquoise and yellow beaded ring and a silver bracelet with turquoise on it. Of course both of these were fun for about the first three hours and now they are fun for about ten minutes if she sees them-fortunately they were only $1 each!

Here’s all four of us there- Samson is in the sling. (He has not had his six month ground touching ceremony yet so he didn’t put his foot in with the rest of us!
